The Day I Woke Up with a Superpower

 Picture this, you wake up one random morning on your average Tuesday, rushing to get ready for class. You scramble through your bathroom as you look for your things and all of a sudden as your fingers glide through the air, you watch that the shapes you make come to life. 

Sounds absolutely insane right? Well that's exactly what happened to me. So let me tell you about the day I woke up with a superpower. As soon as i realized it, i started shaking but at the same time it got me curious. My body started feeling weird as  adrenaline coursed through my veins , fingers tingling and i felt the wind knocked out of me. It didn't stop there did it, my hands got numb but in a good way to be honest. 

Without choice i had to go to school that day and out of fear  i kept my hands close to myself knowing that i like to imagine things and if i lost control of my hands , things could go bad. During classes , it got me dizzy to the point i had to run to the toilet to make it less obvious . Again things started getting weird and that one small superpower i had didn't stop there. I realized  that whenever i imagine something it would pixelate just barely into its form then disappear. It got me extremely curious as i walked out the bathroom trying to figure  out how to get this forms to fully come to life .Ideas came to mind of how actual superhero will have catchphrases to make their superpowers appear just like in the movies. I started saying randoms words . Minutes passed and finally a word came to mind ," BOOM " .As soon as i said it the pixels turn into the  object that imagined . The fear i had all this while turn into  excitement and my smile shined as bright as thousand bulbs , thinking if i should show it to the world or keep it to myself. What do you think ?

Days passed and i was playing around with the powers in my room and it was getting better. I was happy with myself but never had a thought of revealing it - KEEPING IT A SECRET IDENTITY IN THE THOUGHTS OF OTHER SUPERHEROES. Days were going good but which superhero story had no villain right? there was actually one unknown villain  . It was exactly like a fantasy to me. Planning stages started , costumes , styling techniques and so on .Nothing came into mind , so i had finally decided to stay the way i was , being normal which is basically meant  laying low. The villain is basically a normal person but to my surprise he found out my secret of the  powers  i had which led him to start getting jealous and finding ways to catch me. Life got a little fun when i had someone who wanted to challenge me with  similar powers. Basically the rivalry started when people started in wanted to know who is the unknown superhero . In one word , jealousy.

Finally it was time to meet  the villain . It was  a stormy , breezy night . It felt like an ' Avengers endgame ' type of  scenario.  Felt like a dream but excuse for the fun part, time to get serious . A dark night with a villain and a superhero against each other . the villain , Ericson , began to question me words full of hate and the fight had began. I started drawing and imagining things ,making it reality, beating  the villain . To my surprise , he had the same powers which resulted in a never ending fight. Thankfully , with the help some of my creative thoughts , i managed to finish it and it was an end to the era of hatred with a little goodbye in hopes to never see, Ericson, the villain ever again.

It all ended well but at that point of time , everyone including friends and family found out about the superpowers  i had . The fear of me getting scolded by family reduced a little. I guess it was for a good cause right? It was one roller coaster ride however , i was finally known as the " Friendly neighborhood BOOM" .
